Success Story – Aug – Alvin Jenkins
Please join us in celebrating the success of Mr. Alvin Jenkins. Mr. Jenkins came to us due to viral encephalitis and a stage 4 sacral wound.
Prior to Mr. Jenkins admitting to the hospital, he resided at Oakbrook Health and Rehab and enjoyed moving around the facility in his wheelchair and greeting everyone along the way.
Due to his lengthy hospital stay Mr. Jenkins returned to Oakbrook and participated in a 7-week therapy program to regain his strength and mobility. After much hard work and dedication, he has achieved his goals and is able to get back out into the facility greeting staff and patients.
Everyone loves to see Mr. Jenkins, whom always has a positive outlook!
