Success Story – June – Ms. Baechtold

Ms. Baechtold lived independently in a single-story home with her husband and daughter where she enjoyed cooking and gardening prior to her fall resulting in a fracture of her right leg.

 Upon admission to Oakbrook Health and Rehab Ms. Baechtold needed assistance with her daily tasks of bathing/dressing and getting in/out of bed as she was unable to place weight on her right leg.

 After two weeks of physical and occupational therapy Ms. Baechtold was able to complete her daily tasks with supervision and safely navigate from bed to chair. She was able to safely discharge home with her loving husband and daughter to continue with home health services to regain her strength. Ms. Baechtold will be greatly missed by the Team at Oakbrook!
