Success Story – Nov – Lynda Karl
I am honored to be involved in the celebration of this month’s success story, Ms. Lynda Karl. Ms. Karl admitted to our facility after being diagnosed with a nontraumatic acute subdural hemorrhage that caused her to have a craniotomy performed.
Upon arrival, Ms. Karl had deficits in the areas of bathing/dressing, toileting, transfers, and was unable to ambulate. Getting therapy started was a struggle due to anxiety, pain, and level of awareness. After just 6 short weeks of therapy services with all 3 disciplines Ms. Karl was back to prior level of living baseline.
She was able to ambulate 750 feet with stand by assistance and performed all activities of daily living with supervision. We are so proud of the strides and accomplishes Ms. Karl made while attending our program!
