Please join us in celebrating the success of Mrs. Ackerman at Oakbrook Health and Rehab! Mrs. Ackerman came to us after being hospitalized due to acute pancreatitis, which left her with a decrease in daily function and mobility.

Upon arrival Mrs. Ackerman required extensive assistance for daily task such as lower body dressing and toileting; as well as moderate assistance to transfer from bed to wheelchair. Mr. Ackerman was unable to walk due to decreased balance and lower extremity strength.

After participating in our therapy program for just 4 weeks, Mrs. Ackerman was able to return home to her husband at her baseline functional of independence!
