Oakbrook Health and Rehab would like to shine light on the success of Ms. Earline Garcia!

Ms. Garcia came to Oakbrook after a hospital stay due to encephalopathy and left shoulder dislocation from a fall at home. Her hospitalization left her with decreased mobility, balance, and a cognitive decline, making her unable to return home safely.

Even with her setback, we were very optimistic for Ms. Garcia’s rehab potential! After participating with physical, occupational, and speech therapy, she was able to demonstrate significant progress and stayed motivated with each therapy session!

With the help from our Oakbrook team, we are pleased to say Ms. Garcia will discharge to an Assisted Living Facility, where she will continue to have her independence with minimal supervision. We are very proud of her progress and cooperation!
