“Best of luck to you Mr Mersenski!”

Oakbrook Health and Rehab would like to highlight the success of Mr. Dean Mersenski!

Mr. Mersenski came to Oakbrook after a brief hospitalization following a right hip replacement. After surgery, he was limited by pain, balance, and strength. He was unable to return home from the hospital because he required assistance with walking and activities of daily living.

From day one, Mr. Mersenski was very motivated and actively participated in his therapy plan. The therapy team was optimistic for his rehab potential! After participating in physical, occupational, and speech therapy, he was able to demonstrate significant improvements.

With the help from our Oakbrook team, we are happy to report that Mr. Mersenski will discharge home with family support! Mr. Mersenski says he is looking forward to getting back to traveling this summer. We are very proud of the progress he made while at Oakbrook!
