Oakbrook Health & Rehab would like to highlight the success of Jill Franklyn!

Jill came to Oakbrook with the goal of returning home with her wife and cat! When she arrived, she was very weak and in pain following a hospitalization. She required assistance with all activities of daily living, mobility, and transfers. 

Throughout her rehab journey, Jill kept her goals in focus. She participated to the fullest with speech, occupational, and physical therapy. Jill is an example of giving it her all in and out of the therapy gym. She was a great friend to other residents here at Oakbrook and always offered encouragement to those who needed it!

We are thrilled to say that Jill met her goal of returning home… but that’s not all! With support from her therapists and interdisciplinary team, Jill progressed from a wheelchair to being able to walk 200 feet with a walker.
